And the Winners Are....

The snow is here (in force!) and Christmas is around the corner! With everyone in our house on winter break and lots of holiday celebrations, I'm not sure that there will be a newsletter next week. If you are wondering about upcoming events, be sure to check out the calendar to play ahead. So, be safe, stay warm and, for those of you who celebrate, have a Merry Christmas! New PBS Series Premiers 1/3

Last weekend, PBS gave me the opportunity to host a preview party for the new the PBS Kids show, Wild Kratts! While geared towards ages 6 and up, my 3-year-old and a group of others the same aged loved it! With fun crafts and a yummy lunch, we all had a great time!

 

What kid wouldn't love flying with draco lizards and swimming with a duck billed platypus? All the while learning about the animals and, of course, saving them from evil villains! An animated comedy, the show features ...

Ice carving demonstrations will greet visitors on the Welcome Plaza, and live holiday music will fill the Wolf Lodge and The RainForest.Santa Claus will pose for pictures December 20-24 in the Wolf Lodge, where kids can also make an eco-friendly craft. Warm up in The RainForest, where it’s always a toasty 78 to 80 degrees, and decorate some holiday cookies. Then bundle up and visit the winter loving animals of Northern Trek, including bears, tigers, camels and reindeer.
