We love Creativity for Kids crafts in our house. Handmade Charlotte is new to us but we are fans now! I'm so excited they are teaming up to provide awesome crafts. Creativity for Kids and Handmade Charlotte have more than 50 craft activity kits and supplies to get imaginations running and they are available exclusively at Michael's craft stores.
My 6.5-year-old (because how dare I call her just 6) and I spent the afternoon putting together this super fun craft called a Happy Himmeli. What is a Himmeli, you ask? It's a traditional Finnish holiday decoration. We didn't expect a culture lesson with our craft - what a bonus! We'll leave it up, though, because it's too cool to put away.

It was a wonderful afternoon spent with my 6-year-old. I find hands-on crafts are a great way to engage with my kids. Her hands are little so she needed help putting this one together.
I will definitely look for more Handmade Charlotte crafts at Michael's!
