The 3rd annual I-X Trick or Treat Street returns to the I-X Center October 20 & 21 and October 26-28. The not-so-scary Halloween event is geared for kids ages 10 and younger with 12 themed candy stations, amusement rides, costume characters, and much more, all included in one low price! With everything inside under one roof, little princesses and super-heroes won’t have to worry about the weather stopping their fun. The show has even expanded its hours to accommodate more happy trick-or-treaters.

The not-so-scary Halloween event is geared for kids ages 10 and younger with 12 themed candy stations, amusement rides, costume characters, and much more, all included in one low price! With everything inside under one roof, little princesses and super-heroes won’t have to worry about the weather stopping their fun. The show has even expanded its hours to accommodate more happy trick-or-treaters.
Children and parents will love the 12 creatively themed ‘spooktacular’ candy stations with costumed staff passing out pre-approved, individually packaged candy. The street empties out into a giant Festival Area with plenty of things to see and do, including amusement rides, a giant slide, a play area filled with toys, and the 3D Mystery Manor, a Halloween-themed house complete with a vortex tunnel! Ghoulish Mini Golf will give families a chance to share the fun together, and a Pony Ride ring full of fall festiveness will delight wee ghosts and goblins (additional fees apply). Parents can also get some ideas on pumpkin-carving courtesy of Chef Alford and the culinary department of the University of Akron.
Great Halloween fun starts the first weekend with the Spooky Kooky Magic Show on October 20 & 21. Kids will learn about Halloween safety while enjoying majic tricks and puppetry. Jungle Terry will bring his critter pals big and small each weekend on the Main Stage (see website for times). Everyone’s favorite lasagna-loving feline Garfield will appear October 20 and 21, and Funshine Care Bear will bring the hugs October 27 and 28. Live entertainment with local dance and singing acts will take place on the Main Stage both weekends!
The I-X Trick or Treat Street starts Saturday, October 20 from 11:00am – 9:00pm; Sunday, October 21 from 11:00am – 7:00pm and opens again Friday, October 26 from 3:00pm – 9:00pm; Saturday, October 27 from 11:00am – 9:00pm; and Sunday, October 28 from 11:00am – 7:00pm. Advanced discount tickets are available at Marc’s starting in October for just $11.99 each for adults and children. NEW this year are Family Pumpkin Packs, which includes four tickets and a parking pass for only $44.99 (while supplies last)!
Tickets sold onsite at the I-X Center will be $13.99 for adults and children, seniors 60 and over are $9.99. Children two and under are FREE, however if you would like them to participate in trick or treating, a ticket must be purchased. Group tickets are available for just $9.99 each with a group of 10 or more. Groups can order online or call (800) 897-3942 for more details.
