Rubber Band Easter Eggs

April 1, 2010

This is simple for kids or you can get really fancy by dunking the eggs repeatedly to create a cool, striped effect.   First, wrap rubber bands around the egg (gently!) before dunking. I like wrapping a couple of bands around the eggs to create a layered, artful effect.   Dunk the eggs in the colored water bath until desired depth is achieved.   Remove from the bath and let dry for about 15 – 20 minutes.   Remove rubber bands when the eggs are fully dry.
