University School Summer of Adventure offers more than 80 boys and coed camps and courses, including 22 NEW enrichment and sports camps and academic courses such as Virtual Reality, Quarterback Clinic, Superheroes in Literature and Film, plus many camps in our brand-new maker space, STEAMworks. Held at our Shaker Heights and Hunting Valley campuses, US camps are led by our experienced teachers and coaches.
In its 92nd year, the US Boys' Day Camp has a strong tradition in combining fun activities with a truly educational experience. Campers experience teamwork, sportsmanship, athletic and non-athletic skill-building, and pride in a job well done. Group sizes are limited in each grade level to maintain a 7:1 camper to staff ratio!
For beginning athletes looking for an introduction to a sport, or for student-athletes looking to take their talents to a higher level, US Sports Camps offer a fun, challenging, and safe environment where kids can improve their skills, make new friends, and have fun! Campers are grouped by age and ability. Life values of teamwork, respect, effort, and sportsmanship, staples of the US athletic program, are incorporated into every session.
US offers a wide variety of specialized enrichment camps, where kids can explore rocketry and space, outdoor adventure and wilderness first aid, engineering and design, coding and electronics, music and songwriting, theater and studio art, entrepreneurship and debate.
High school students who want to prepare for the school year can get a head start on academics through our credit and non-credit summer class offerings, including new options in computer science, engineering and fabrication, and scientific research, in addition to traditional courses.
