Join University Heights Library at Whole Foods Market at Cedar Center South for stories, songs, rhymes, and more! Bring the entire family to enjoy books, music, and fun at this monthly storytime. For preschoolers of all ages. Tuesday, October 2

🎨 First Free Saturday at MOCA

People of all ages can explore one of Cleveland's cultural anchors, engage with the exhibitions on view, and take part in family-friendly workshops or activities. Guided tours are also available for adults. With three different exhibition seasons each year, MOCA Cleveland, Northeast Ohio's only contemporary art museum, is always changing. Come explore! 🍿 Movie Night at The HUB: A Cat in Paris

Families can enjoy popcorn while watching "A Cat in Paris," an Oscar-nominated film about a feline living a double life in France’s capital. At Mentor High School. Rated PG. Recommended for ages 9 and up. Wednesday, October 10

Glenn tours are a unique blend of education and entertainment. Visitors can explore America’s research facilities and see where scientists and engineers develop propulsion, power and communication technologies for NASA’s aeronautics and space programs. Join our friends from the Mentor Fire Department for stories and songs. Meet the local firemen. Find out what it's really like to be a fireman. Open to all ages. Each time kids attend the “Firehouse Friends” story time will receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win lunch with the firemen in December. All ages. Thursday, October 18

It’s like March Madness for superheroes. Kids can find out who the best comic-book character is by pitting them against each other in a superhero tournament. Enjoy snacks while completing brackets. Bats help us by eating pesky bugs. Look around the CanalWay Center for the 20 bats we have hidden. Bats of Ohio spend the fall and winter months hibernating or migrate to southern caves. All ages. Every day in October.

🐰 Pocket Pets: Tales and Trails

Presented by the Lake Humane Society, children will be assigned a 15-minute reading slot with a featured (and adoptable) small animal and handler. Space is limited to children ages 7 and up so register early to book your small furry reading buddy! Ages 7 and up. Thursday, October 25
