11 No-Excuse Reasons Why You Should Join Me at Burn Boot Camp

By now you all have heard me go on and on about Burn Boot Camp in Beachwood. (If not, you can check out my original story here.) Here's the thing, I desperately want you to come and hang out with me. And here's why:

1. Visual and Mental Results: I just finished the 6-week Raise the Bar Challenge and oh-my-goodness am I so much stronger! I mean, look at these numbers and these before and after shots. My reps are getting higher; my form is getting better and, dare-I-say, my waist and chest are shrinking. I am stronger and more confident and I want this for you, too.





2. Burn Sisters: We all want to feel better about ourselves and why not do it in a place that is swirling in support? When I say Burn Boot Camp members are all shapes, sizes, ages and abilities, I am not exaggerating. We are moms, college students, athletes, brand new, marathon runners, former couch potatoes, fitness instructors and everything in between.  

3. Unlimited: With your membership, you get unlimited camps and free childwatch. That's right, you can work out as many times as you want during the week and there is someone to watch your kiddos! There is a playroom with a big window so you can see them and they can see you.


4. Personal Training and Support Staff: Wait. What? You thought this was group training? Oh, it is, but in a personal setting. The trainers offer personal feedback and support during these 45-minute camps and offer Focus Meetings, 15-minute one-on-ones where you can talk about everything from weight, measurements and stats to food, goals, struggles and inspiration. Injuries? They are on it. Any exercise can be modified to work for you. My knees provide the perfect example. More times than not, I need a slightly different exercise to manage my sensitive knees, and they make it work. Also, the Burn Ambassadors are always there to help with anything you need. The entire staff treats you like family... because you are!


5. Different Every Day and Every Week: While every body part is trained every week, each day is different so if you want, you could work out every day without exhausting any particular part of your body. Also, every week is completely different. No day repeats. Every Sunday the new weekly protocol is released so you know what's coming up. Here are some examples:


6. Nutrition Support: Burn Boot Camp Beachwood is currently working with the local company DaBoro's on a meal planning partnership. Talk about making it easy to eat right! You can purchase fresh meals straight from the fridge at the gym!

7. Yoga: When you train like we do at Burn Boot Camp, you need to r-e-l-a-x and give your body time to recover. Special yoga classes are scheduled throughout the year. 




8. Burn Kids Camp: Burn Boot Camp is a family affair! Keep an eye on the schedule for Kids Camp, 30 minutes of fun workouts for your kids. It's a blast!



9. Extras: So far there has been a salad-in-a-jar Party, a stair-climbing fundraiser and family-fun at an indoor bike park. I know this is just the beginning and there is so much more to come.

11. 14-Day Test Drive: I know it can be hard to show up somewhere new all by yourself. That's why I'm here for you. Below is my regular weekly schedule.   • Monday - 9:30 a.m.
  • Tuesday - 9:30 a.m.
  • Wednesday - 5:30 a.m. 
  • Thursday - 9:30 a.m.
  • Friday - 5:30 a.m.
  • Saturday - 8 a.m. or 9 a.m.
