Cleveland Metroparks unique, state-licensed Nature Preschool is open for registration until February 9 at 5 p.m. The nine-month, nature-based curriculum combines early childhood education with immersive outdoor experiences at both North Chagrin and Rocky River Nature Centers.
Due to popularity, Cleveland Metroparks is holding a lottery drawing for admittance into the 2020/2021 Nature Preschool program.
Cleveland Metroparks Nature Preschools promote the development and growth of each child and build kindergarten readiness by fostering a sense of wonder, developing a respect for our natural world, instilling confidence, physical and language development and more. The program is state-licensed and the curriculum is based on Ohio Early Learning and Development Standards and developmentally appropriate practices.
Registration concludes February 9 at 5 p.m. A non-refundable $25 fee per family is required for entry. The lottery drawing will take place on February 17, 2020.
