Family Kindness Festival returns for another inspiring afternoon celebrating compassion, community, and connection. This year’s festival will take place on Sunday, April 26 from 1–4 p.m. at a new location: Landerhaven (6111 Landerhaven Dr. Mayfield Hts., OH).

Families from across Northeast Ohio are invited to gather for a joyful event designed to help children, parents and grandparents explore the healing power of kindness. The free festival will feature interactive activities, inspiring youth activists and entrepreneurs, hands-on projects, and opportunities for families to connect with nonprofit organizations that promote service, and community well-being.

“Family Kindness Festival is about reminding children—and adults—that kindness is powerful,” said Dr. Shelly Senders, Founder and CEO of Senders Pediatrics. “By bringing families together for a fun and meaningful afternoon, we hope to inspire acts of kindness that make an impact in our schools, homes, and communities. And, by moving the festival to Landerhaven it allows us to welcome even more families and community partners while providing a beautiful and spacious setting for all attendees.”

Festival highlights will include:

  • Inspiring, entrepreneurial students focused on giving back to their communities
  • Community nonprofits and organizations dedicated to those they serve
  • Mobile blood drive
  • Wigs for Kids Cut-a-Thon
  • Hands-on give-back projects
  • Interactive family experiences
  • Entertainment—including, stilt walking, juggling and music
  • Fun for all ages, featuring a video game arcade, henna tattoos, crafts galore, martial arts and face painting
  • Ice cream and cotton candy for all
