Arboretum Action Summer Camps brings immersive, nature-based activity to all age groups. Campers will explore our diverse ecosystems, experience wildlife from all angles, and develop an understanding of the importance of our natural world. Explore all the creatures that buzz, crawl, swim, and soar around Holden! Campers will embark on a thrilling journey to explore the diverse and fascinating living things that inhabit our planet. From tiny insects to majestic mammals, every creature has a story to tell. Campers are encouraged to become naturalists, learning to observe, appreciate, and respect the biodiversity around them. 

Critter Camp June 3-7 from 9am-3pm For ages 7-9 Explore all the creatures that buzz, crawl, swim, and soar around Holden! Campers will embark on a thrilling journey to explore the diverse and fascinating living things that inhabit our planet. From tiny insects to majestic mammals, every creature has a story to tell. Campers are encouraged to become naturalists, learning to observe, appreciate, and respect the biodiversity around them. 

Forest Fun Camp June 10-14 from 9am-3pm For ages 8-10 Unearth the magic of Holden’s forests while embarking on an enchanting journey into the heart of the wilderness. Campers will journey through our forests from the ground up, digging into the secrets of our soil and spotting birds soaring high in the treetops at the Murch Canopy Walk. Towering trees and vibrant wildflowers provide an entrancing space for children to connect with nature in an unforgettable way. 

Ecosystems Explorers Camp June 17-21 from 9am-3pm For ages 9-11 Forests and ponds and streams, oh my! Welcome to Ecosystem Explorers, where young adventurers are invited to embark on a weeklong expedition deep into the heart of various ecosystems. This immersive summer camp promises an unforgettable journey through forests, streams, and ponds, where campers will develop an understanding of the delicate balance within diverse ecosystems. Adventures include searching for organisms in streams and ponds, exploring the treetops at the Kalberer Emergent Tower, and using team building skills to learn the importance of conservation. 

Arboretum Adventure Camp June 24-28 from 9am-3pm For ages 12-13 Welcome to Arboretum Action, a thrilling 5-day nature-based summer camp that promises an unforgettable adventure amidst the great outdoors! Nestled in the heart of nature, this camp offers a unique opportunity to explore the through exciting activities and hands-on experiences like tree climbing and fishing. 

Tiny Trailblazers Camp July 1-3 from 9am-noon For ages 4-6 Tiny Trailblazer is a 3-day preschool-aged nature camp where curious minds meet the great outdoors! Campers will participate in activities that use all their senses to touch, smell, and marvel at the natural world. Designed as an introduction to the outdoors, your explorer will foster unforgettable memories that will last a lifetime.
