Coventry P.E.A.C.E. Park

REVIEWThis park is not officially rated for ages 5-12, but I am guessing. In truth, we've seen older kids having a great time here, too. Off Coventry Road right by the CH-UH Library, this playground is unique in a way that my kids beg to visit. There is a HUGE metal slide (it's fast so make sure you're at the bottom for little ones!), vip lines and castle-like wooden structures to climb.

REVIEWWe love this playground! The younger section is smaller on a different side of the building. The larger, relatively new playground can easily be seen from Lee Road and my kids are crazy about it! They love to climb and spin on the merry-go-round and the climbing structure has great slides and walls to climb! Definitely a winner. Visit when school is not in session.

Horseshoe Lake
Park Drive off South Park Drive

REVIEW: Horseshoe Lake is such a beautiful park. Next to one of the Shaker lakes, this is a beautiful setting for a picnic, party or even just an afternoon out. The park does not have a traditional playground structure but, there are swings, rocks to climb and a huge rope climbing structure that our kids call the "spider web." There is a small area for toddlers that allows them to use their imagination. Large grassy areas are great for a game of tag or to throw a ball around. Pavilions offer shade from the sun as well as many picnic tables. Restrooms are well maintained.
